Born and raised in Cork, Ireland, to an English mother and American father, Nicholas has been equally comfortable on both sides of the Antlantic for his whole life.

A graduate of Wesleyan university, he majored in Ethnomusicology, fascinated with the anthropology of musical expression. As an avid entrepreneur and an angel investor, Nicholas has supported community initiatives and business ventures in the United States for a long time. His commitment to and interest in the future of the performing arts led him to support the Middleburg Music Fest International, where he serves as the Chairman of the Board.
